Hi guys! Looks like I get to be the first comment... too bad I missed you on your way to Campo, but I'm glad our friend Teal could be there. I think this is such a great undertaking for y'all and I fully send you much love! Living in southern california, I have hiked through the deserts and high mountains here and know what you're in store for in the beginning stages of your hike; stay hydrated! Being real pros, such as you all are, I'm sure you'll manage that one ;) So keep us all posted and best wishes! -Jon Clemens
Hey, Read about your blog in the Weekly. My husband and I attempted to thru hike the PCT in '06- did 2200 miles that year and did 375 last year. Plan on doing the final 88 (Stehekin to Manning) in July. Can't wait! It is very bittersweet to read others blogs as we miss the trail and that life so much when we are reminded about it. Good luck to you both! Mimi and Fred from Spfld, OR AKA Mama and Chia www.trailjournals.com/fredandmimi
